Not always the case. But the problem is that many government workers have a crappy work ethic, because there is no inducement to excel. They will keep their job, regardless of how they perform. DC is an excellent example of this: just go there and deal with any public worker.Dilbert_X wrote:

Which is why defense work in most democracies isn't run by the state, it is funded by the state though.
