Nothing like driving around Manhattan at 3 in the morning.
It's the only time you CAN drive around Manhattan.Superior Mind wrote:

I love music, I'm a musician after all... would only look to spend about 3 nights tops there.
And I come from Australia, we try to make everything sound like one word

Music? Music?!?!? And you're avoiding NYC? For shame.Jaekus wrote:

It's just a money/time thing, I actually really want to go there. Can't do it this time around, but next time I definitely will - I'll actually plan specifically to go to NY, probably within the next 3 years hopefully (also planning on going to Thailand about this time next year).Jay wrote:

When you go to the Grand Canyon, definitely get on a helicopter tour. It is well worth it! Also, try to make sunrise/sunset at a point with a good view.

I've got my iPhone 4, picture quality is pretty amazing for a phone. Of course, an expensive SLR/DSLR would kick it's arse, but I'm happy with it
Helicopter tours are pretty expensive, like $300 p/p expensive

I'll never do a heli tour of NYC. Huge waste of money.Jaekus wrote:

Just go to the "Top of the Rock" (NBC building)... same effect Absolute must to go at night though.

The reply was about a heli tour of the Grand Canyon...
Traffic lights or roundabouts, or just make one of the roads a major road and the other minor.Jay wrote:
How does one avoid creating four way stops anyway? Make all roads one way? Or are you talking about faggy ass jughandles like they have in Jersey?
Русский военный корабль, иди на хуй!
Um, I think that last part of your statement doesn't effect the US.Dilbert_X wrote:

If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
Shouldn't be THAT expensive. Lake Meade flight was $30. Hoover Dam was $60.Jaekus wrote:

Edit: F*ck. I meant Mead (I recommended the lake earlier). Someone earlier today posted Meade. And I was there last weeknd...
Oh, well if it's that cheap it's a goer, if I end up in either those places. Nothing is set in stone yet, except Vegas and CA.
My mate did an hour and a half tour of the Grand Canyon, and it was $400. He said it's definitely worth it though, but yeah, it's not cheap. $60 to Hoover Dam sounds really unlikely. Even just a 7 minute airport heli transfer in France was like 100 euros.
Yeah I checked again, I was correct the first time - http://www.looktours.com/ghettoperson wrote:

Ah cool, yeah I guess he bought his ticket on the day so didn't get a discount.
Fuck, I really want to do that now, it looks awesome! I guess if I ate burgers the whole time I was there...
I was there. Just before the checkpoint before going to Hoover Dam. Next to that one Hotel/Casino by Lake Mead. $30/$60 helicopter rides. You have to avoid the default tourist companies. Same as the Hoover Dam tour buses. Arm and a leg prices. Just get the tour tickets when you are actually at the Dam.
I'm just keen to see another part of the world, even though there's a lot of Australia I haven't seen.
