No it has been well documented on this site that immigration into Europe has never been an issue, you got a handle on it, and that increased immigration resulting in a dilution of your nationality was something scoffed at. I am pointing out that, not only is increased immigration a growing concern for Europe, Europe is also trying to deal with a growing concern of dilution of your nationalities by immigrants.

I am not saying "you are just as bad as me," I am pondering that YOU are starting to realize that you might have issues or concerns on your hands that you wanted to dismiss in the past and are now being forced to address?

Was all over the news here a few months ago...could've sworn there was a thread or two about it here too.

If it's the thread I'm thinking of. It was mostly other American's making a noise, and they weren't so much in favour of illegal immigration as making legal immigration easier.

It's not about opening borders, it's about the whole France pour les françaises mentality.

But yeah, fundamentally against "the death penalty, raising incentives for homemakers,[1] and euroscepticism" and opposing "same-sex marriage [...] and abortion" as well.
