I wouldn't have heard this shit or Justin Biebers had it not been for people sending it to me. Where do they get this trash?

someone finds something funny on youtube -> it gets spread via thousands of forums / blogs / channels you name it.
not that hard to understand really. I only found out when it got here, too - and from here it'll be spread somewhere else.

I found out about this trash, and I'm not going to spread it. "Oh I have AIDs, looks like I should go spread it."
Lame analogy but I think you get the point.

Your song Friday is to teen pop what the Beatles were to rock music. You have single-handedly saved the music industry from its eminent demise through your stellar songwriting and vocal ability.

Rebecca Black's song isn't really very different from most country music. She's singing about her day, as a country musician would. It would appear the only difference is the melody and slightly cheesier lyrics. Had she sang with a decent voice and a country music melody she wouldn't have been so mocked, well, mocked by us that is, unfortunately, praised by others.

yes she would have.-Sh1fty- wrote:

country musicians tend to apply the same techniques to their songs as any other music. You know rhyming, a story arc that isnt just rambling, that sorta shit.

I'd rather get mauled to a pulp by a bear, have some acidic citrus juice poured onto the wounds and be flayed alive than listen to that.

Ergh, I think I'm taking this too seriously.
I agree. As a musician I am highly offended that something of such ridiculously low standard, hell, no standard at all gets this much attention. There are simply so many things wrong with this song and clip that it's unreal. It's taking the worst of the most clichéd parts of clichéd music imaginable and fucking it up royally. Singing in monotone only works if you have talent and something meaningful to say, which she obviously has neither. And even with her voice auto tuned to fuckery it still sounds like she can't sing.Adams_BJ wrote:

So, how exactly does this even work? Who takes a girl with no talent, has a 10 year old write the lyrics, autotune the crap out of her, and think it's decent enough to air?
Are they really smart or really dumb? I'm not quite sure if they actually thought this crap was talent and it would sell or if they knew they could use this crap they put no effort into to make a bit of dough? Honestly who OKs this music?

The world is in such a shit state of affairs not because of teen pop girls, but because of old egotistical men.

but you find someone screaming into the mic and incomprehensible loud noise (metal music) to be good, everyone's entitled to their own opinions but sometimes you have to wonder why there are such big contradictions and hypocrisies going onpresidentsheep wrote:
I just don't like that guys voice, sounds like he's trying to sing through his nose with a really bad cold and someone's strangling him... Seems like he's trying to hold his breath to me?
Add to that the music just seems really repetitive. Not in a catchy good way but in a oh, didn't I hear this section of the song 5 seconds ago and then 5 seconds before that, and so on.
Saying that though, I like theory of a deadman who sound pretty similar (I remember hearing that one of nickelback had something to do with them?) but they seem better for some reason.
metal heads are usually the ones who are always raging on about how everything sucks, that and the hipsters who try to get too much into the whole dubstep thing
