I suppose the multiplayer is vastly improved over Crysis 1, but I have played twice for 20 minutes or so each time, and after that I was bored. And not the kind of bored that additional maps would help...I'm pretty certain that 15-20 minutes is all the attention this game will/would ever get from me in multiplayer.

Cloak...wait 15 seconds....kill......recloak......fire on guy 7 levels higher, even though you completely get the drop on him and wtfpwn him he still kills you.

Yawn.

The movement feels good, the graphics are good, etc., but it just doesn't have the heart and soul of a genre-defining shooter. I guess once you go Battlefield, you never go back....

All of that aside, if the single-player is really good then it will still be worth buying @ $30-40.

It's not that I couldn't kill people that were a higher level...but they were noticeably tougher to take down. It wasn't game-breaking, but in Battlefield when you unlock additional abilities and weapons, the damage your weapons do, and that you take, are still the same no matter your level.

Games where a very high level alone makes you much, much harder to kill are dumb to me. This is one of the (many) reasons I have never sank much time into a traditional MMO game like WoW.

Obviously you do not know the maximum armor ability which is available to everyone. Also there isn't any upgrade weapon damage at all in the demo. One final thing, in MMO games higher levels compete against higher levels.

There are upgradable armor modules that are gained through experience. Hence, someone 10-20 levels in to the game will be much harder to kill than a noob. It's not rocket science...more like video game science.

Oh, and I was playing computer games when the first FPS was made, and you were just a rambunctious little sperm. Please don't patronize...

I just wanted to say that the immediate impression of all the nanosuit abilities made me realize how shitty the experience will be for those playing catch-up after this has been out for a little bit. I wasn't basing this all on just what is in the demo...it's how the game is designed.

And again, it's not bad, it just doesn't float my boat.

You only get the armor module improved if you use enhanced armor mode while the thing is equipped. The upgraded armor module makes the armor mode burn less energy as you level it up.

Oh and good for you that you managed to play the first low graphics shitty 2d fps games. Doesn't mean much in the latest games.

You do realize you are playing the console demo right? The actual crysis 2 pc game may be different. Anyway I at least know that you need a call of duty game with cloak mode and thermal vision as well as super jump as well as climbing walls.

So then it isn't a call of duty game then. Just because it has a form of killstreaks doesn't mean it's a call of duty game.

TBH I like the killstreaks in this game a lot better than duty. Instead of instantly getting credit for the killstreak (IE when you get two kills and you're one away from a UAV or something.) You have to run out to the person you just killed and pick up their dog tags in order to progress to the next streak.

Which puts a hinder a on campers. I found myself running around the maps more often instead of camping, getting a kill, moving to another camp spot and so on and so forth.

If the women don't find ya handsome. They should at least find ya handy.
