Are there CD/DVD ROM drives that have their reading speeds or RPMs limited/locked to a lower level for the sake of being quiet? I've got an ASUS DVD-ROM drive that says "QuieTrack" on it, and although it is very quiet, it's taking 3 times longer to rip a CD with EAC than with my other ASUS DVD Burner (which doesn't have QuieTrack on it).

I know it sounds silly, but I think that's what the issue might be. I've done all the proper configurations with the program and whatnot. The read speed should be at least the same, if not greater, than the burner, right?

black frame makes it easier for your eyes to concentrate on the image, especially in darker areas. I think the Ipad2 will be the first product I will buy from Apple besides iPods.

When installing some ATI 4-series card's drivers on my mothers Windows 7, 32-bit PC, I get "Failed to load detection driver."

This has happened with the drivers off the disc, from the website, in Safemode, after running Driver Sweeper, etc.

Any other way to install these drivers?
