I should be increasing my weights every week, yes, but some increments are only 1-2KGs, so it becomes more of a mental thing. Weight goes up though

Apparently a lot of gyms don't have 1.25kg plates. I've read in a couple articles it's recommended to buy your own to take to the gym, only cost you a few bucks

lol

At my gym the lowest it goes is 2.5 lb plates. Sometimes I throw them on my squat for fun then spend the entire time doing that exercise wondering if I even notice a difference

Must be pretty hard to increase weights on stuff like lat/front raises, shoulder press, and curls if you have to add at least 5KG every time

At the top floor of the gym the have a section thats mostly used by women because it has yoga mats and they now also have a stylish X shaoed frame that holds dumbells that are slick and shiny (like apple designed them, they look a bit like shakeweights) and they have a 1kg dumbell...

1kg! wtf. how do you even use that? I dont think you even realise youre holding it until you see it.

Any of you guys use whey? Because I want to know how you can keep up with the costs. I bought a 5lbs tub at the start of the month and i think it last just another week or so.

5lbs per month of protein.
Fuck yeah

I don't. I'm quite sure I'm getting in enough broteins from other food sources.

Anyway, Madcow's Friday training really makes me suffer. I love it.

How many grams of protein do you get a day?

Now I'm curious, could you post your diet?

Also, just weighed myself: 66kg. Now i do feel a bit full it'll probably be fluid etc, but it does mean that I am at least 65kg

TBH, you wouldn't learn much from it anyway. I'm not on a solid diet anyway, I just eat what seems healthy for me at a given point during the day. I go to university, so most of the time I'm limited to the food they offer there, I usually go with a sandwich(belegd broodje). During the day I try to eat as many fruits as possible to get my vitamins in, but also enough healthy foods to get my proteins in. I start the day with some kind of muesli and some sandwiches. After that I'm also quite limited to what my mum makes me, but it's always healthy, she knows her stuff too I eat 500gr of 'kwark' (some sort of cottage cheese) before bed, which contains 11g protein/100g.

If you really manage to get above 150 than thats pretty impressive. Dairy products like kwark/yoghurt/cottage cheese always help a lot, personally i prefer whole milk

I've gotta say one litre semi-skimmed milk minimum per day and the Kwark really help. Easy 80-ish grams of protein there.

I get 60+g from a 1L of whole milk every day and add another 60g from the chicken i eat and another 60g from the whey. Those are the most protein-heavy products i use. Then there also is a small amount (~20g) in my dinner and and a little bit in the oats at breakfast and in peanuts i sometimes eat
