It is fu*king annoying when you bomb a cp full of enemies and you hit accidentally one of your own guy (who is getting owned) and then he punish you.....

Hate the knobheads who walk into a marked claymore or drive onto a marked AT mine !!! The damn thing is MARKED for a reason !!! Skull and crossbones on the ground not enough ?!?! Even the big Skull display on the right of the screen is not enough...What more do ppl want ?? Bells, whistles, an alarm ??
Latest example is on Ghost Town map (BF2:SF) (Internode SF server #18 - Australia) - got TK punished for laying claymores at 2 of the 3 ladders onto the roof at North Bridge when player climbed the ladder and had one go off in his face. When I confronted him about the punish I got, "Don't block all the ladders you idiot" - well how's this - "Learn the friggin' map and use the ladder I left free you idiot !!!" - all you needed to do was look up to see where they were - you know who you are...

There needs to be a TK punish so as to keep peeps from TKing for vehicles and such, But i think the Punish itself from players is Kind of stupid. I mean theres no way around it but to try and play on servers where peeps Dont abuse the feature. I dont think ive even Not forgiven a guy for a TK unless it was for a vehicle he desprately thought he needed.

There is no excuse for a TK for a vehicle, that should always be a punish. But any TK in the field should be forgiven, shit happens and sometimes the IFF system can be a little slow to appear.
It is annoying but I don't care too much....I almost never punish (unless it was an intentional TK, going for vehicle or something).
It seems to be every person's little "power" over everyone else on their team....team, interesting teamwork when you can't forgive...

yes i am sick of noobs punishing all the time.
especially in warlord where you throw a grenade and all of the sudden some fool in your team jumps into the blast radius, then the grenade kills him and you get punished.
i have a way with dealing with other player's stupidity. i work alone period as a special forces class. and i make a one man squad that is always locked. i help people take flags and disappear.

I don't really have a problem with this, if you made a mistake tking someone then maybe they made a mistake punishing, swings and roundabouts. It generaly evens its self out, I forgive when I can see how something may have been my fault, eg if i get pwned by a team mates gren it was probably my fault cos i didnt hear/see what they were doing. Other times I feel it was a v stupid mistake or maybe its the third teamkill and I don't fancy forgiving that particular one I won't. If someone constantly punishes then they are stupid and they won't win any friends, but wasting time conplaining to them is just that, wasting time.
Maybe there should be a minimum rank that allows you to TK punish (Gunnie or Master Sgt) , then all the newbies who can't friggin play would not be allowed to punish for their total lack of talent.
This wouldn't catch the folks who are still knobs and made Gunnie or better, and who's sole purpose in life is to be a dick, but would cut down drastically on the newbie prats who simply can't play.

actually because of all the idiots that seem not to know that there is an option to forgive I am quite thankful for every decent player who is able to judge the situation right and forgives accidential tks! This makes me smile almost everytime and I usually hit "Thanks" on my commo rose to show him my respect

Every server I go to I see so and so punishing for stupid schtuff, I know, I know, people don't like their pixeled dude to be killed and some people even cheat to make themselves look good. But anyway people abuse the punish system wayyyyy too much.
The story:
On Warlord we have ALOT of claymores set down to protect certain areas, up comes Bobby Joe Enemy Pixel and then there is a Dumbass Don Dweeb that is firing at Bobby Joe. Bobby Joe comes running towards Dumbass and both gets exploded by the claymore properly placed at an entrance, not a spawnpoint mind you. And guess what? Dumbass Punishes. Or when you are AT and firing a round at a tank and a spec ops is near and he gets blown..punished! Or when another dude runs in front as you are firing...punished! Or when your planes collide as you are 'refueling' ... Punished! Or when you are throwing nades and kill 4 guys and a teammate...punished! The pixel dude was gonna get murdered anyway, you were doing him a favor!
I think the art of forgiveness is no more. Its punishing people that is what its all about nowadays. I say no more punish system, make them all suffer or make the person who threw or did the damage just a -2. Why doesn't anyone forgive anymore?? Seems like they have on finger on the mouse and one on the 'Page Down' Button; or they have it as a quickie -- like on the mousewheel, its basically automatic.
When pixels are being tards then I see where the punish system is okay. As in running you over advertantly or tking.
