you guys know what i'm talking about right?

i'm taking about defib registering as a aid bag/ammo bag..
as we use it, the count goes down and when it goes to 0 we have to wait LONG time for it to get recharged

i mean seriously.. didn't we think this was a bug when 1.22 first came out?

are they fixing it? i'm thinking they forgot already.. how sad

i'm pretty sure in one of the patch lists it specifically said that the medic bags and defibs would be connected. i assumed this would be for the sole reason to detour stat padders and people who just spam medic bags or just run around with the paddles out.

If your fast (like me ) you can switch to another weapon and then quickly switch back and your paddles will be recharged completely.

it is good that defibs loose charge
it prevents serious medic whores - those that run headlong into the middle of a firefight to revive you - just so you can get insta killed - its a deterant.

That's not a glitch, it means they used a 1st aid kit to bring your health all the way up when you get revived.

Yeah, this came in with one of the more recent patches (1.21 or 1.22). The idea was to stop people from spamming first-aid kits everywhere, and to make stat-padding harder with the medic.

I'm fine with it as it is. If you're having trouble reviving people 'cause you're out of charges, you need to stop randomly throwing first-aid bags around. Only use them when you need to. It only takes a couple of seconds to heal someone without throwing a bag anyway (with the added benefit of you being able to heal multiple people at once).

Reviving people is more efficient than healing them anyway. Or at least, that's my theory, and I'll stick to it to justify having only 163 Heal points to go with my 545 Revives

Indeed, this is the most anoying thing of 1,22 without any doubt, hope they remove this piece of !#$#% in 1,3 it is SO anoying, especially when you click wrong, and wrong, and want to click GOOD than you have to WAIT. OR when an enemy is near and you want to shock him, AARRGGGHHHH

well, when i,m a medic and i try to revive someone and it fails te first time i change my position over his body and try it again.

if they got caught in a clip then you cant revive them...thats what i really hate about the ragdoll techniches, if they got thrown and say their on some stairs but their arm is like stuck you cant revive em..wich i think is really dumb, and i like the recharging because it does make it harder for statpadders but maybey increase it from 3 shocks to like 5 but make it so once you run out it takes longer than the respawn time so stat padders are scewed and you PROBABLY wont get stuck in battle with a uncharged one unless its a real heavy battle with like 10 dead pple around you in wich case you shouldnt even bother cus theyll just get killed again instantly

I like the way it currently, is. You rarely need to wait for a recharge, unless you're in very serious combat, and then you're usually dead anyways.

Heals are more important than revives, primarily because:

A. They're harder to get. You try healing a guy that's sprinting away from you. Stupid bastards.

B. They are counted in stats. Revives are not, for whatever reason.

But as a good medic, if you're hurt in any way, I'll fix you up proper! I don't care if it's a heal or revive, my primary mission is to get you back into the action, soldier!

PS: The G36C is the best gun for medic, you're on par with most other classes if you're good. I now rape at combat, whereas before with the L85A1, I was lucky if I got a 1-2 KD ratio.

Ya I was pissed when they nerfed the pads...But I adapted. The thing I REALLY hate, is that they keep changing the gameplay instead of fixing the bugs.
