The leg is feeling better - I think I just tweaked the muscle a bit with slightly poor form and insufficient warming up and stretching.
That's good. As long as it isn't in your joints you'll be fine I reckon.
Losing and gaining that much isn't really possible, someone posted a good article about all of that here or in some other thread. Basically it's either bullshit or, well I don't care frankly. Yeah everyone here gains 5kg of solid muscle in two days going by this thread. Sheesh.
At best you can hope to gain 250 grams of dry muscle a week, then you add fluids and glycogen on top of that weight. You gotta be eating a lot though.
warm up today - 10 minutes on the bike, 5 minute run/sprint. I know that's still too much but it felt weird going so low so soon
It's really just to do with your energy levels. Any form of cardio for an extended period of time will use up some energy that could be put into lifting.
omfg I didn't realise this thread had moved.
Who's bright idea was that?
Anyway, restarting 5x5 after a week off because of exams. Joined a gym at home where they have a proper cage, so squatting is so much easier
Bought myself some fatty washers as intermediate weights to use on the overhead press, really starting to struggle with that now.

for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
6ft 1. Wide build. Med legs/long torso.
I would be about 80KG at <10% body fat normally, so I'm aiming for around 82KG.
Guy beside me is 6ft
more random images of me attempting to get fit
im tall

Just started my one week break... I feel terrible already for not working out lol. I need it though, not good to keep going after 6 weeks.
I'm on a forced week off, fucking flu
It hit me recently too, I feel like I've lost so much because of it. What a piss takeJaekus wrote:

Yeah, missing a whole week off work isn't that cool, don't get paid as much and I'll need to make up some hours down the track anyway.
Getting a shitload of sleep has been pretty awesome though. About the only good thing about it!

Squatted yesterday after warming up properly, stretching my legs, and ensuring the form was good, and felt no pain.
