Saw a Chevy Volt today. The Economist is having a huge thing with my school this week, so I dunno if it's part of it or not. Still, it's actually a really nice looking car. Considering the price, it should be.

i wouldn't mind owning a prius. you know if you got many errands to run and that sort of stuff. saves you the hassle of going to the gas station and helps you find parking faster.
Prius is basically a glorified bicycle. Great for city commuting, but absolutely pathetic at everything else. And that includes saving the environment.

You could buy a prius, which is like what, 35,000$? Not entirely sure. Or, you could find a 1990 honda CRX HF, which gets 50+ MPG's for about 5-7 thousand, and not look gay and not be ignorant thinking your car is helping the enviroment when it's actually hurting it.
