with 4 classes, I don't want vehicles being overly weak to the rocket/missile spam.

Why? You're the one trying to prove a point here. You do it.-Sh1fty- wrote:
Thank you for being more civil.
Now, when I last played the M-Coms only needed 8 hits to destroy them. I think this was very good number. I seldom recall any team member taking up rockets and attacking in this method. I cannot understand why this was patched out, it wasn't an issue.
Can anybody try firing 8 rockets at it just to be sure? I cannot fathom why they would want to increase it from 8 to 23.

It's not as easy as it sounds. When you're not using an AT4, which is extremely hard to get on target for me, you are quite vulnerable to sniper rifles when you come out of cover for a second to fire. A decent sniper could have taken me out, but thankfully most snipers are retards.

I'd also like to see fixed armouries in bases as in DF-BHD since they actually made some logical sense.
I thought two hits to the right spots did kill a tank? front or back of the tracks? haven't played AT in a while.Dilbert_X wrote:
The one think I hated about BF2 was AT vs tank.
I'd like to see a hit on the tracks knock out the tracks, 1-2 hits knock out the tank
tbh my favorite tactic was ninja C4 teamsFatherTed wrote:

killing an mcom with 8 rockets takes all of a minute for a non-brain dead player to do. this is not hard, nor is it a team effort. bc2 is (supposed to be) a team game. how are you meant to be able to defend against one random firing missiles from miles away? some maps it's still impossible to defend easily on (arica first stage there is *literally* nothing you can do, a tank can kill both mcoms from attackers spawn)
tldr u bad
That would work well on FriendlyFire ON servers...War Man wrote:

Nothing. and that's how they should do it tbh... LMG + Ammo packs is the best of any possible weapon & role combo I can think of..unnamednewbie13 wrote:
The hell's wrong with having a support guy carrying ammo satchels like in BF2?
People didn't complain about the lack of penicillin before it was invented either mateunnamednewbie13 wrote:
That's a lot of gear to juggle around. Launcher =/= grenade + mine + wrench.
I don't really remember anybody complaining in BF2 about there being "OMG, TOO MANY CLASSES."

Yeah, but having it more like BC2 where you choose either rockets or mines would work well. I think it's more about streamlining them where practical than the number of classes tbh. Giving medics LMGs is still a little weird.
