These last couple weeks:

X-Men Evolution S1-4 - roughly 6-8/10 per eposide and 70% of every season (skipped a few bits)
X-Men 1 - 8/10 - set the stage, but can be slow
X-Men 2 - 9/10 - the best in the series, I think
X-Men 3 - 7/10 - left me scratching my head, wondering why Magneto didn't just flatten the building at the end on his own
X-Men Origins: Wolverine - 7/10 - Still not as bad as made out. It is Wolverine after all, not Origins: Deadpool. Could be better, but could also be a lot worse.

So yeah, mostly averagish. Might watch a few TAS ones if I can dig them up before June.

(note: I usually rate movies by genre, not together, so X-Men 9/10 isn't Godfather 9/10)

Well they did kill Scott just to be able to do that scene so why ruin it by letting Jean/Magneto just say "hi *crush* bye"

I didn't really hate origins: Wolverine either, it was a decent action movie. But when i watch a comic movie i expect a looooot of action and some story (doesn't necessarily have to be great) that is related to the comic. That last part was were it fell short IMO.

But that's exactly what Magneto would have done. There's no reason Magneto couldn't (or wouldn't) have just crushed that building with his end of the bridge. That said, they could have had the kid underground, beefed up the military a bit more than a few guys with plastic guns...anything but making Magneto's final attacks be inaccurately-tossed flaming cars. All the while, Jean just stood there and looked grim when she could have probably ended the whole thing solo.

Also, getting lazy and throwing several powers into one character (speed plus mutant detection) was unnecessary, given all the other characters they had. Still fun to watch though, if you try not to think about it too hard.

Maybe she's satisfied with TV. If you count those jobs, she's been kept relatively busy. Also in Thor.

The King's Speech

9/10  I was worried at first that it might be a bit dull. Rush and Firth did an excellent job though. The bits of humour thrown in were enough to lighten the mood but not so much as to take away from the serious plot.

I watched eternal sunshine of the spotless mind and being john malkovich. Preferred the first, both were excellent though and I can't believe its took me this long to watch them.

meh. 6/10. a friend of mine has been telling me to watch it for quite some time now and now i finally got to it, and well... Im not impressed. It was okey, but the story was very predictable and i didnt really liked the characters in it. Good job by Kevin Spacey though, although not his best.
