So my old Dell 8250 with a 2.53 P4, 1gb of rdram, agp-6800gtoc won't run it? Good thing I have a 730x.
what's your point? my point is high settings don't give you an advantage11 Bravo wrote:

i dont agree. high settings versus low when adjusting for the best distance does give you an advantage. you can say what you want but when i saw my buddies comp when he was sniping compared to what i saw it was a advantage.HaiBai wrote:

Question:
Since the PS3 supports Bluetooth keyboards and mice, would that allow you to play with mouse-aim and WASD controls?
Gotta try that!

Low settings give you an advantage, except for cranking up the draw distance and geometry to high. And having the effects on helps to see the muzzle flash.
Other than that, the rest on low gives you an advantage.

Although I could never stand playing it on low.

Yeah I know, but sometimes other people need things explained to them in a manner they understand.
I've only heard the french and german accents, never heard british so IDK.thepilot91 wrote:

The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
Atleast I would call the assualt one british , and you where the one talking about similar accent to the nationality of the weapon, and as far as I know l85s are the most common one among british solidersWar Man wrote:

The one file in the SF file was epic. Something like
"Does your mother know your here?" - British commander. It was never heard in game, but it's defo in the big file thing.

I know that, not sure if dice also did a British one as I never heard them speak. People played the other kits, pretty likely though.thepilot91 wrote:

It is a marginal advantage. However, I'm confident enough to keep the settings on full and enjoy the (admittedly dated, but smooth now that I'm playing it on a 9600M GT) graphical appeal of the game.11 Bravo wrote:

It actually sounds like it'll be really good, with phrases like:

The only time low settings are really an advantage is with long range, 400+ meter sniping. Shadows can get too dark and actually conceal people-can't have that.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I hope its a new secnario from BF2. I liked China being in it, as they weren't Russia and were balanced versus the US. However the whole MEC was just implausible.unnamednewbie13 wrote:

I think that the best factions would be US, NATO, PLA and Commies, even though they are very overused as video game bad guys.
I would like to see a western power portrayed as an aggressor for once. Could be simply accomplished with a North American civil war.

Bingo. It's not that hard.
Nah, I like how in the modern-era BF games, it doesn't go into detail about how the war began. If they make one country clearly the aggressor, then it could alienate players from that country. Also being forced to play as the bad guys would make the game feel less heroic for the player, like "congratulations, you won! GO TYRANNY FUCK YEAH!"unnamednewbie13 wrote:
