Hey guys.
InterRailing during Spring Break, getting a ticket that gives me 5 free days of rail travel during the vacation. Thinking Paris - Germany somewhere - Warsaw - Krakow - Prague - Budapest - Zagreb - Nice, where Warsaw - Krakow - Prague are done the same day, ditto Prague - Budapest - Zagreb.
Any recommendations/tips/comments? Has to end up in Nice.

Belarus
Why would you do Prague and Budapest in the same day? Both need at least a full day if you want to see anything.
you're going to be knackered and it won't be worth it... trying to fit way too much into far too little time. narrow it down and make the most of each place you're going to... what's the point shooting between 2 major cultural/historical places in the space of a few hours? you won't have any time to immerse and enjoy yourself.

I'd prefer a non-scheduled roadtrip tbh...

Adjusting entries are a pain in the ass
Oh I just realised, you're trying to cram 3 cities into one day, twice? Why bother even going, you'll see more of the city by taking a connecting flight through there.

Did it the other summer, a brilliant way to see Europe, I just wished I spent longer in each place, took more money, and went with more people.Jenspm wrote:

I had a 10 day one, flew to Berlin, then train to Prague, Krakow, Budapest and Istanbul.
Budapest to Istanbul took about 36 hours, but was amazing. Met a random dutch guy and basically chilled on a few different trains getting drunk and seeing the countryside.
You need at least 2 days to see stuff, but Eastern Europe do start getting pretty similar when you see a lot in a short space of time. Try and travel further and see different sorts of cities. Beware of scams in Belarus.
Btw, I'm back in England. It's raining.
isn't it just
