yup yer right, and I already explained why. Basically you are punished or released based on what can be proven, your guilt or innocence is determined by whether or not you committed the crime. Again, you are a child molester based on the fact of you molesting a child, not whether or not you got caught.
Then why is it okay for a copt o beat up a suspect?

nope what difference does it make? I dunno if he is guilty or not, watching the video isn't gunna change that. I don't condone police brutality, watching the video isn't going to change that either. My opinion on how I feel about criminals getting fucked up isn't going to change based on that video thus my opinions are not based on this video.
Watch the video.

Unless you're intentionally being ignorant.

Are you?
unless this video determines the guys guilt or innocence, there will be nothing there to influence my opinion about my lack of indifference to how criminals get theirs.

It isn't, I just don't care if after a car chase you are thrown to the ground and the ever lovin shit gets kicked out of you.

Thats an assumption, which is often wrong. There are as many brutal thugs in the Police as outside.

Well enjoy it when the criminal becomes the victim and sues the police.

The bad guy wins in that scenario.

Whats an assumption? THat you took the police on a car chase risking innocent lives? That is not an assumption, that is an example.

Take Rodney King, I have no problem with those cops beating the fuck outta him. None, zero zilch. There is no question about what he was doing, his history with the law, his current condition of drug abuse. Fuck Rodney King.

Its an assumption that any police officer beating a member of the public is always in the right and the member of the public is always a criminal.

I think the bottom line here is lowing likes to see black people getting beaten up.

Generally speaking, 50:50.

If the Police are beating someone their judgement is poor, its likely they've misjudged whether the person 'deserves' it or not.

You ought to watch the video lowing.

Innocent folks usually don't run and get beat up...albeit this is way over the top.  There was enough cops, punches and kicks to take down a man in a bear suit.

I can tell you, if the guy was caught as a criminal, a little takedown, punches and kicks might do the trick, and that wouldn't be a problem.  But this video makes the cops look really bad.  So I kind of wish the guy didn't get stompered...but only because the cops have thrown their careers away (assuming the guy did the deed).

The other mysterious thing about this is this was a "petty theft thievery" of a warehouse right?  The video has like a whole swat team and shit chasing him and taking him out.  So I'm wondering about whether the crime has been downplayed somehow.

Didn't anyone get the impression that "hell, that's a lot of cops...did he rob the police station or something?"  How did they all get there so quick and in full assault garb?

If you watched the video posted, you would realise it is the same story.

This kid is was able to sue the police dept. and a number of officers.

Seriously, watch the video for some context on this topic.

Furthermore, if they beat someone they 'know' is a criminal then they're doubly stupid as in all probability they'll be sued and the criminal will walk.

Beating suspect -> Criminal goes free with a pocket full of Police money.
or
Innocent person goes free with a pocket full of Police money and the reputation of the Police sinks further -> Police evidence is disbelieved more frequently -> more criminals go free.

Does that demonstrate good judgement?

one issue, if a criminal gets beat or killed. don't care

the other issue, paying the criminal for it. sucks ass.

If that cop car woulda just smashed his worthless ass into that fence we wouldn't need to be discussing it.

what's weird to me is that you have no problem calling the dude getting beat up a criminal but you don't view the cops using excessive force as a criminal act.  This idea of vigilante justice is clearly against the whole concept of a civilized justice system yet you seem to have no qualms about it, in fact champion it.  I guess it's just so against my worldview that I cannot even wrap my head around the logic behind the argument.
