Well you might wanna go read up on UN resolution 181.
Maybe you should read some history, especially wrt UN 181, not just parrot propaganda.
Its much more complex than the UN - which you think is irrelevant when it suits you - 'gave Israel to the jews'.
For a start Jerusalem was not 'given' to them, and they've reneged on so many aspects of it that really its null and void.
Your tough guy 'you might wanna's don't make up for lack of argument either.

Israel was attacked for good reason, it was an aggressor in the region just as Nazi Germany was an aggressor and was rightfully attacked by nations seeking to defend others, the poles, the czechs etc.
You are correct their are few "left wing loons", most left wing commentators have their roots set in stand up comedy. Fitting in my opinion.
and f you don't think Keith Obbermann isn't a nut job, well we will just agree to disagree.
Do you mean Keith Olbermann? Do you mean sports journalism rather than comedy? You'd have more credibility if you got the occasional reference right.

You're probably thinking of Glenn Beck
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glenn_Beck#Radio
Through practical jokes and publicity stunts, Beck drew criticism from the staff at Y-95 when the rivalry culminated in Beck telephoning Kelly's wife on-the-air, mocking her recent miscarriage.
Wow, thats just hilarious.
In 1995, WKCI apologized after Beck and Gray mocked a Chinese-American caller on air who felt offended by a comedy segment by playing a gong sound effect and having executive producer Alf Gagineau mock a Chinese accent.
My god, thats even funnier.
In January 2006, CNN's Headline News announced that Beck would host a nightly news-commentary show in their new prime-time block Headline Prime. The show, simply called Glenn Beck, aired weeknights. CNN Headline News described the show as "an unconventional look at the news of the day featuring his often amusing perspective".
Wait a minute, isn't that a - drum-roll - liberal channel - clap of thunder ?
Seems like a dick with a background in comedy who'll say whatever will get him paid, which no doubt applies to the rest of your favourite pundits.

Would you be happy if MSNBC hired Beck to spiel extreme left wing gabble with no reference to the real world? Would that balance things out for you?

"On November 29, 1947, the UN voted to partition western Palestine into separate Jewish and Arab States (GA Resolution 181). Although the area allocated to the Jewish State was very much smaller than had been promised in terms of the Balfour Declaration [1], and which comprised more than 75% desert, the Jewish leadership accepted partition, but all the Arab states rejected it. Had the Arabs accepted partition then, there would be no Palestinian refugee problem today.

The State of Israel was declared on May 14, 1948, and the very next day the newborn state was attacked by the armies of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon as well as the Arab Liberation Army commanded by Fawzi al-Kaukji; seven armies in all"

No actually I was thinking more along the lines of John Stewart, Al Franken, Bill Mahr, etc....
