It's entertaining for a few minutes but quickly becomes tedious because of the controls. I don't really have any standard to compare it to, but it's probably a good job considering it was a college project.
Continuing to explore and expand northwest, southwest and north and south along the east coast. Peaceful relations with the Shawnee and Cherokee, for now. Iroquois might as well be a part of Huron, but I don't want to go to the expense of maintaining control by force. They're very happy right now economically, and my army is pretty overwhelming for the culture group, but it's also spread damn thin. I know, at first I intended to take North America by force, but it just wasn't feasible with what I was starting with. I'd rather solidify my claim on vast chunks of land than get into protracted conflicts with rebellions by [powerful] conquered peoples.
So I guess I did a 180 from what I was originally intending to do, and probably have more km2 under the Huron banner because of it.

The odd thing about colonizing "unclaimed" territory is that once it's established with a population over 1000, it becomes an official part of your culture group, even if the natives fought tooth and nail to drive you out. I've had countless battles asserting my claim over these territories, but none with any significant tribes.
In vic 2 when you get around 1870 you get a TON of liberal-anarcho and jacobin rebels. not rebels from foreign lands but rebels from your own people.unnamednewbie13 wrote:
