Most of Queensland - floods on an almost biblical scale
Northern Queensland - cyclone of the scale/intensity that you normally find in the Gulf of Mexico, not the Coral Sea
Victoria - flooding, intense flash flooding in Melbourne/surrounds due to a tropical-scale downpour
Sydney and surrounds - intense heatwave

Fl and the gulf coast gets tropical storms every year. Hurricane's almost every year. .. some of them extremely intense.
