Seems like it would have potential. Magneto is a superhuman supremacist, and Lex Luthor is a human supremacist. Both are genius intellects and charismatic leaders, and would most likely be directly at odds with one another, viewing the others' agenda as an intolerable threat. Luthor, of course, relies more on his toys, including a suit which would probably be prepped for the encounter.
Assuming:
1) Both Magneto and Lex Luthor know what's coming and are given time to prepare a defense, plan an attack or assault right away...
2) Neither of the two get to enter the fight with one of their 'supercharged' comic book moments (no Onslaught, no Green Lantern ring, etc.)...
3) For the time being, 'minions' don't figure into the equation...
...which of the two are most likely to succeed?
