hmm, started using musicbee and i might actually stick with it after trying wmp, itunes, foobar, aimp, mediamonkey, songbird, clementine, winamp, and probably a few more ive forgotten. its added proper tags to every song in my library (even random remixes) and added album art. and it actually has a filing system i like which is the first of any music player ive ever used. plus it can sync with my ipod... seems like a good switch
Does it scrobble .. send to MSN? I wonder if it will sync with my droid.

Wow, okay this is seriously amazing. It allows drag and drop into the ipod and can delete individual songs off the ipod without needing to go through an entire resyncing process. Definitely a winner so far

MM was ugly and unintuitive though. This is way better than MM was

yea.. it actually kinda is the same thing..lol. The fist thing I do when I add music is set them in a playlist anyways.. so meh. I installed music bee and couldn't find anything compelling beyond a skin a liked. I'll continue to play with it over the next week or so, but as far as being "way better" than mm.. I don't think so.

it has features that i use that make it way better than mm... and the skins are nicer. the overall interface is better too imo. plus the retagging feature is much better than it is in mm, i did 10k songs scanned in about 2 hours
I added a tagging plugin to mm that works perfectly. It even has a list where you can select where exactly you want to pull the data from. I cant remember it off the top of my head now, and I am not home.
As far as the interface, they appear to be very similar and both are completely customizable. Again, I like one of the skins on Music Bee. Not necessarily a huge deal. I'm still trying it out.

one thing that really bothers me with musicbee is it doesnt have the aero style minimize, resize, close bar that every other program has. it has the non aero one and looks really ugly

.. nm, it works. You need to reopen both apps after enabling the function.
also, did you notice clicking on the album in the detail will bring up the last.fm page within the player by default?
I've also figured out that a lot of the plugins used with winamp will work with musicbee, as they do with MM also.

edit: .. ok, so something weird. I clicked on disable (when it wasnt working) and then it brought me to the login screen. Logged in and now scrobbling
Sucks cause I was really liking some of these features.
It really brings a lot of info into the player.
