Been reading about this "trend" of tiny houses.  I have found some interesting houses.  Some very cute and interesting ways of conserving space and money.  http://www.tumbleweedhouses.com/houses/ for the plans of the tiny houses and small houses.

In reading about tiny houses, I got linked to these Foam Dome houses.  I think some of them have potential.  I would consider having a home built in this style.
I got claustrophobic just watching the video.

That one looks like it came off the set of Beetlejuice.

True, Americanized Victorian is a bit different.  The one pictured is also pretty bland for the style.

On the other end, you get stuff a little more like this (although this isn't the extreme end)

Lots of detail work which is nice, but I find the colors pretty lousy.

This wouldn't be a bad place to have if you were building something larger. Many of the efficiency practices could be used to turn a larger home into a monolith of storage capacity for pack rats like me.

The 'Bodega' plan is kind of nice.

Sorta related, anyone else love wrecked buildings/cities? Have done ever since I was little, something about them gives me a desire to explore them, places like this:
https://craphound.com/images/detbeautifulhorrible.jpeg
The outsides are always fascinating, regardless of style, just to see how they've decayed over years of abuse. Gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

It's the 'dream' place on our list. We'll have to see what the price per plate is etc.

Maybe one day on a holiday or something, the idea of a tour puts me off though, half the appeal of these buildings is going somewhere no-ones been in a long time.

I do also, I love exploring old buildings that have been locked up for years, I will try and post ( usually doesn't work some kind of blocker stops it ) pictures of the Woolworth's building vaults. It's like a maze.

I recognize some of those scenes from my Kids Game. I think its "Call of Duty Modern Warfare ", it must take place in Chernobyl.
