Every user has a unique nickname right? Not one person goes around with there real name. I sure wouldnt name my account "Jin", thats for sure. Me using a picture of a Japanese model to cover up my real identity was just part of my...."online persona for bf2s" for want of a better word. I used it because I wasn't comftable posting my REAL picture on a forum, community based or not. The fact some people liked me, but now piss on me like im some dirty animal makes me sick, some people claimed to be my friends, well they did'nt say that but that's what they would have said if they knew me. And now they piss on me....just like that, because im not some uber hot porn star. Some people even think I am not a girl, all I can say to that is...LMFAO, it's like "if you aint a porn star you aint a girl at all" too be honest I dont care what they think, if i'm not there anymore I dont have to prove myself to complete strangers, and I most definitely am not going to post my real picture, on only people who stayed my friend after I was discoverd not to be Reon Kadena deserve that tbh, because it means they aint shallow. I never realy liked it there anyway, the only good thing I got from that website was a few new friends like Darth Fleder and The Heart Attack and Towley. Other than that...i'm out, maybe ill find somewhere else to hang out. Only this time I wont make the mistake of posting a fake picture lol.

Put it this way. There are lines that should not and cannot be crossed. Bullshitting/White Lies are one thing, I could say that I'm Sg's bigass muay thai fighter, and no one would know for the better until someone comes in and busts it, and after that I'll just look stupid with cake all over my face. Lying about that fact would simply have discredited anything I said and from thereon, anything else I contribute about the topic on martial arts would be taken with a huge handful of salt.
Going around telling people you're a war hero/superhero/caped crusader is fine by me, its an online forum, we're nameless, faceless people as far as you're concerned, white lies are not exactly harmless, but they don't bomb you out that badly.
Creating a whole new 'persona' for yourself is a different thing altogether.
When the community attempts to draw closer by putting up pictures of themselves so that everyone gets to put a face to the name, a fraud would simply piss everyone off. The lie will only last as long as it takes someone to find you out.

Whatever, I was nice to her after we played on GI JOe server. I just dont like false pictures. I mean, none of us know each other and you are going to pretty much only be accepted upon what you let people know.
