The Pittsburgh Steelers host the New York Jets on Sunday afternoon for the AFC Championship.
Pittsburgh Steelers Win by Greater than 10
Kickoff In 23 January 11 18:30:00 ESTEarlier this season, the New York Jets were able to tame the Pittsburgh Steelers here at Heinz Field by winning 22-17. However, the men from the Steel City are hoping to flip the script on Sunday night and avenge that loss to return to the Super Bowl for the second time in the last three seasons.
Will they get the job done? We're here to analyze the AFC sports book odds for the AFC title tussle.

Mojo. The Jets have it. The Steelers need it. Though playing at Heinz Field is clearly going to help out the hosts, we know that New York is going to come into this one full of confidence that it can get this job done, especially after having taken down the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots in consecutive weeks.
The Jets really have gotten the job done with their defense. They limited one of the most potent offenses in the league and a future Hall of Fame signal caller in Peyton Manning to just 16 points on the road in the first round of the playoffs, and they followed that up by sinking the highest scoring team in the league and holding it to just two TDs; one of which came in garbage time.
What we have to consider though, when analyzing the AFC sports book odds in this one, is that the Steelers have a fantastic defense as well. Troy Polamalu is clearly getting healthier by the day, and he wasn't able to be on the field for the Week 15 loss to New York.
Pittsburgh gave up nine points in that 22-17 loss without the 'D' being on the field, as the opening kickoff was returned for a TD, and the offense conceded a safety later on in the fourth quarter.
Last week's 31-24 win over the Baltimore Ravens might have looked like an offensive showcase, but it was anything but. The Ravens had fewer than 130 yards for the game offensively, and there was really only one legitimate sustained scoring drive for the visitors.
That being said, when we look at the AFC sports book odds, the first thing that jumps out is that neither of these teams should be scoring three straight times in this game. The Jets will get their points, but they aren't going to be scoring in bunches. There might not even be three scores in this game, let alone one team scoring three straight times! Knowing that we are getting this proposition at +135, it is one that we cannot pass up.
