Okay, I've stated my annoyance at not being able to go to E3 after thinking I was going since september, but anyway.
I downloaded the whole sony conference and I am very impressed with some of the games on show, especially MGS4 and a few others but right now I cant remember the name.
Although they come with a hefty price of $600/£410 I will definately be purchasing one as I expect PS3s to last a long time and the games will only get better (look at some of the release games on ps2 compared to now) and I think the future of console gaming is in Sonys hand.
At college, I'm on a games technology course, which should hopefully lead me into a company which would be developing games for PS3 and other nex gen consoles.
Also, a number of Xbox360 owners on my course have said they're going to sell their 360 in order to buy a ps3, 2 of them have had their 360 set fire to itself whilst playing games.
