BC2 is pretty good, better if you get Vietnam though. It has a bit of a novelty value though, whereas BF2 is timeless.
From early reports it appears BF3 will be like BF2 in terms of gameplay but with souped up graphics and the frostbite engine (destructible environments). They're also telling us they're developing a dedicated PC version, which is good news since BC2 feels a little like a console port.
