I dont get why we get to take four profile pics, but only use one, I thought we'd be able to swap them round
because the creator shows you a big image with lots of bits on the sides/bottom/top that won't fit on the portrait other people actually see. so it lets you know what your pose/lighting etc will look like to everyone else.

Truthfully, I didn't actually mean to get my char turning so far around. When I took the 4 portraits. I taught clicking next would then come up with a screen asking which one I wanted to use, I didn't know the one I had highlight would be the one I'd have to use. I might re-do mine but I actually like it the way it is, the option would be nice though.
p.s: Worth keeping this in your head guys when you get the chance to re-do it, there's a lot of silly avatars around, ones giving lulz etc. Just think if you're still playing eve in a few years, will the Avatar be as funny or witty then. Eve is srs biz.
My username is about 8 years old, when I made it I taught it was the bomb, now I realize it's fail. But I've got this name attached to a lot of stuff so it's not worth changing.

I'm Gallente. In a Vexor for now. Just doing missions and such until I train more.
The logical step would be to move to a Myrmidon once you start doing L3s. If you can pilot it, even with T1 modules and an unimpressive skillset, it's essentially going to fly and fight just like a slow and heavy Vexor with a fucktonne of additional armor and two extra turrets. You can do more or less every L3 kill mission with a T1-fitted Myrmidon and mediocre skills.CC-Marley wrote:

worth noting if you go vexor-myrm-domi you'll want really strong drone skills (eventually t2 sentries) since that's were your DPS comes from.

Build your drone skills, get T2 drones. Myrmidon is the way to go if you're doing drones anyways. It can shield or armor tank (armor is better for starting out)CC-Marley wrote:

pvp from the very start. once you've figured out how to move your ship, lock stuff and how to shoot guns, go run around lowsec in something cheap and try and kill anything. if you need some starting isk join the bf2s channel in-game and hit someone up

real people, the automated responses from the AI 'I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE DERP DERP' pale in comparison to 'YOU RUINED MY LIFE AND IM GOING TO GET MY DAD TO FUCKING KILL YOU YOU FUCKING FUCK DICK FUCK DIE DICKFUCK' you get from real people. there's something in the general settings for font size, for chat windows there's a little button above the text box too to increase text size
