I had no idea it was an exploitation /grindhouse film until I started watching it. Here is QT's favorite grindhouse movies. I have only seen the top four. There is no comparison between the top four and Machete.

Like I said before, I had no idea this was grindstyle type of movie until after the fact but I have seen Rodriguez other action movies and enjoyed his style and end-product. Machete was still very mildly entertaining. 1/5
