but seriously, wat is with that kill message? i aint got euro forces installed anymore (re did my pc) so would it have anything to do with that? i have just installed SF again, as i broke my bf2 disc. it seems to do this with jsut the p90 and the l96a1 btw

Go into your localization files for EF, search for "l96a1" with Ctrl-F, and see if the kill-message got corrupted/messed up/whatever. If it is messsed up change it back to L96A1.

looks like someone has been playing with there language file. - This is a post somewhere - do a search for it:)

thats the thing tho, those names aint in the folder, i dont think none of the SF guns are. unless they would be in the SF mod folder, but surely they wouldnt affect it in standard bf2?

i have been playing with my language file yes, but none of the "newer" weapons

No, they're in the EF file.

Edit: I think they affect BF2 since it uses those guns...

ahh, i see now, i aint got EF installed so that why, but this has only started happening since i installed SF
