Watched Predators just now..

pretty neat but I have a few issues...
- One of the most expensive actors in the movie was cast as a sidekick that dies as soon as he is introduced?
- Alot of pointless suicides / attempts
- Ending pretty much a cheap setup for a sequel and not really ending anything

Your thoughts, insights, and musings on this matter intrigue me

the ghost writer - 7/10

one of polanki's best recent movies. the script reads a little too transparently sometimes, though (pretty ironic for a film about the process of writing to have such hokey, poor writing in places)- but mcgregor saves what is a weakly didactic script at times. a good pace and has the obvious strength of making a not-very-interesting ostensible plot into something engrossing.

True Grit - 8.5/10

A very classic western feel to it and Jeff Bridges' acting is phenomenal (and so was the girl's, forgot her real name). Felt like Cheney and Ned were very, very underdeveloped though.

However, a solid movie and definitely worth a see. A lot of unexpected laughs.

Thinking about seeing it, but apart from the good vs bad thing and lots of zooming around it looks thin.

"The Lemon Tree" 7/10
Not a great film but its good to see the occasional intelligent film made.

I had some sort of review on the first time I watched Inception. Buuuut I guess I could say that the awsumness of the first time was naturally not there but a solid watch anyways.

When I planned to see this movie, I knew primarliy going in, it's a Disney movie first and foremost. Don't expect to see gore, sex, or intense violence. Tron follows the standard Disney plot of a young antagonist who grows up aimlessly when he loses his parents. After he finishes his conquest, gots his shite on straignt.

I didn't realise it was Disney. But tbh Kung Fu Panda is more entertaining than Tron. It was just boring and seemed too short for what seemed like it could have been a decent set of films if they did it differently
