Okay, i get awsome pings on servers (11-19 on texas ones) i get good pings in vent, but my dowload speed is shit, it's like 90-200 kbs, i have 100 MBS CONNECTION also when i look it up in task manager, it says my untilization is freakin 1 % when downloading something, I don't know how to freakin speed it up. Anyone else know?

with 90-200KB/sec, you problebly 2mbit internet, and lost 0.4mbit cause of distance.
or, if you are realy rich, the upload of where you download might be limited per user/server/file, or just have a bad upload.
(ps, i find this the perfect topic to post it in: im getting 16-24mbit internet, i live close so its 20 or more xD, and 1,3mbit upload)

i'm guessing you have a home network? the link speed is the rate at which you're connected to your network, but your connection to the internet may be a lot slower than your network. i have a cable internet, and i pay about $40 a month, so i'm guessing you have something faster than cable, but my download speeds go anywhere from 50 kb/sec all the way to 1.2 mb/sec, depends on the server you're downloading from
Upload speeds are almost always like crap compared to downloads, and yeah, I'd have well over a 100MBPS connection if I went by my network card, but in reality I have an above average (I think?) 5MBPS connection, which actually only gets 4.8MBPS, but I ain't complaining
if ur connected to a router i think its suppose to say 100mbps.
100 Mbps is NOT your internet speed. As stated by others this is your network speed. Your true internet speed will be determined by many factors such as advertised speed, internet traffic and line quality. To get an idea of your speed try DSLReports.com Speed Test. Bear in mind that this will give you an example of your max download and upload speed, what you will actually be able to download at will be different, again depending on the factors I mentioned earlier.

taskmanager says the maximum speed thats possable with your network card. i got 1 card 100/10 and one 10/1(got it when the other one dident had drivers, and for my internet it makes no difference yet)
but the provider only allows a certain amount of data going to your computter. wich you sayd is 200KB/sec (its very importend if the b is small or not, dont forget!!!)
so your network card can HANDLE 12.5MB/sec, but the provider only gives 200KB/sec. and 70 bucks for that? go find yourself real internet, for that amount of money its not hard.... (im getting 16-24Mbit for 45 euro/month + 100 evry year....., so 53euro/month avarage, cant stop bragging)

so, i get a maximum download of 130KB/sec here, but my network card can handle more, but there is nothing more to handle.

ur is broken well i get 900kbs when i download from taiwan sites... 100 -500 kbs when downloading on US servers...
dident you have 100mbit internet or was that someone else with a name close to yours???

Get TCP Optimizeer, its does wonders for optimizing your windows networking settings(TCP envelope, overhead, etc)...
