sold those, they were uncomfortable.

These were 3 year old $50 plantronics ones.

I've had the £30 Fatal1ty ones for about 2 years, now - maybe more.

Never had any problems with them.

I only use the mic, though.

My IEMs broke. Again. Fourth pair in a year

They're such fragile things. Or maybe I need to buy a pair that aren't 50 euros

Absolutely stunning.  Theres really a reason these IEMs are the highest rated on the market right now.  They offer isolation that amazingly exceeds that of my Shure 210s, which I thought offered perfect isolation.  Last night I sat at my desk listening to these and a medium-low volume, had my speakers playing at a medium volume about 2 ft away and at one point had my mom knock on my door and try to talk to me.  That entire time all I heard was the music from the IEMs.

The build quality seems quite solid as well, that was one of the major problems with my Shures and all the crappy earbuds I used between my Shures breaking and these getting delivered.  The earbud itself is made of entirely clear plastic which would be quite difficult to break and the cord is made of 3 intertwined cables.  The cord is also extremely long, which comes in handy when I want to plug them into my computer and sit back to listen.

The package comes with 6 sets of tips.  A triple flanged black set, a small, medium and large black pair, a grey medium pair and a clear medium sized pair.  Currently I'm using the medium grey pair since they seem to fit the best and look the best with the IEMs.  It also comes with a small pouch to store the earbuds in when not in use.  Their warranty is pretty funny as well, the last line says:
"Failure caused by the acts of God, fall of asteroid, Martian attacks, hungry piranhas and/or swallowing by Ravenous Bugblatter Beast of Traal, is covered by Fisher Audio if such accident has been proven."

The sound... oh, the sound.  Everything is crystal clear.  Directionality in the music is beautiful, something no previous IEM of mine could do nearly as accurately.  Everything is crisp and clear, from highs to lows.  It can surprisingly provide a strong bass considering how tiny they are.  Obviously they're not booming, but thats not what I wanted them for or what IEMs themself are for.  It doesnt have any ambient sound which is quite nice, when there was nothing playing my Shures would still emit a low humming sound.  One of the interesting things I've noticed with them is you can hear when a track you have either has a low bitrate or was obviously transcoded/poorly mastered, something I've never noticed at all before. 

Obviously I dont have much experience in reviewing earbuds or multiple high end IEMs, so I figured people could look at reviews by other actual experts in the field.  Here's a few

Yes, you do. What's your budget?

You'll only ever need to buy one very good pair. They don't break. My Westone 2's and DBA-02s are built to withstand anything. Great cabling and sturdy casings.

around 200 euros would be nice. Unless if there is some kind of spectacular benefit to spending more

I have the Fischer Audio DBA-02's and I will back up all the good things about it. It's an incredible IEM. Not my first choice but that's because I have Westone 2's to compete with it.

You might have to wait a while till you can get the DBA-02 though, it's on pre-order and it goes real fast...
