Bit of a weird issue here.
Was testing my new comp the other day. Didn't get a new monitor with it (to keep the price down) because I'm going to be using my current. But I wanted to try it out on our big 40". Hooked a HDMI lead between the TV and the tower, but for some reason it wouldn't work. The only way to get the PC option running on the TV was through the DVI or VGA lead (forget which). Makes me wonder how you would get HD gaming if you can't use the HDMI.
Any ideas?
Yeah tried the HDMI port.Morpheus wrote:

as in, if you were only trying the "Computer" port, it might not be looking for the signal on the HDMI input
Srs? The telly sez no signal on several ports.Morpheus wrote:
take them out, blow on them, put them back in?

Sounds like the synopsis of a porno.Morpheus wrote:

When I did it, I just unplugged the TV HDMI lead from the PS3, and plugged it into the notebook. Can you do it that way? It was already configured or w/e to take an input from a device..M.O.A.B wrote:

I don't know if there's a way to configure the TV though. One of the options is 'PC Component', which works through the older lead system.
Ye, this is what I mean.PrivateVendetta wrote:

Meh. Might as well go test if it works. Got one of those pressure cans somewhere. Meanwhile, have a waffle.Morpheus wrote:

Ah right. Nope, didn't try that. Tried putting it into one of the unused ports as opposed to unplugging the Blu-Ray and trying that.Morpheus wrote:
