Its not peoples race that bothers me, its their attitude. Black people who act gangster make me mad, white people who act gangster make me mad. Native people who think that theyre black make me mad, and when they think they can boss me around cus I'm white. White people who hate races of people for no piticular reason make me mad. OK with a game like this or any other online game . I cant count how many times i ran into someone that just randomly uses the N word for no reason at all Just to get attention. But, from my experience, what I have noticed over the years is that a lot of the increase in racist remarks and slurs have developed as a result of immigration, having a mixed community in an area and terrorism (relating to the middle east in particular).
Not only that, but due to the media announcing crimes of all sorts, mostly caused by "foreigners". Granted, its not true for every case, but for a fair amount of the worst crimes, it is "their sort". And this is down to the media.
Not only that, but that the government/councils enforce all these new laws and changes so that we have to be "politically correct". Examples being that some cities/towns, etc banned christmas lights over the xmas period. Just because it offends a small minority of people...despite the vast majority of the population being Christian - they get banned so that they wont cause offense.
What really annoys me personally, is that these people come over here, fair enough. No problems there. But to go about changing our way of life to suit them (xmas lights as an example of many) is diabolical.
Soon, they'll stop church bells ringing at 8am on a Sunday morning for Christians, just because it "offends them". The whole crap about passport photos for the religion (muslim??) where the women have to have their face covered at all times....
Quite frankly, this is our country - our way of life. We all have rights - which are extended to any immigrants that come into this country. They chose to be here. We havent forced them to come here - they are here on their own behalf. If they dont like it, then they should take the biggest right of all. The right to leave.
We dont go to their countries and ask to change their society because we dont agree with it, being the minority that we would be over there. So why should they come here and do it to us?
Im not racist, I know Chinese, Indian and a few black people (whom are outside my immediate area). However, they dont go about trying to change our way of life. They adapt, fit in and accept our rules and laws whether it "offends" them or not.
However, people that do harm to our society, allies or peoples in this country and abroad, I do hate. So what if they are of a specific religion? Does that make me a racist, for hating a select few people of a particular religion?
I dont think so.
If you ask me, in this day and age and what is going on in the world, people are just twisting the meaning of the word and making it fit their situation so that they can get ahead in life and, in extreme cases, use it as a way of causing unrest and violence.
