OK, wtf! Bf ran completely fine last night, no errors no nothing. but now, when i load up, it gets  to 15 percent, the music cuts out, and the whole game locks up. Before this, i could actually join a game but then it would run for about 3 seconds and then it locked up...all this happend today.

ive made NO changes whatsoever, why the hell would it lock up for no reason atall!?

Help anyone? anyone had the same probs?

Run BF2 in windows Mode i.e

right click BF2 icon go properties

find where it ses target Look for the following

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1


change it to 0 if its on 1 and if its on 0 change it to 1


this will run BF2 in Windows Mode ( half of screen )

when u crash it will give you error messige letme know what it is :-)

P.S I for got to say only change Full screen to 0 and not the menue

Ok, i just did a full re-install of battlefield which proved to be dissapointing

I re-installed because my comp kept crashing at the same bit of loading ( 15 percent ) and the music cut out and everything.

Now, i did a full re-install, went back onto the game, ( singleplayer ) and found that it loaded, started running for a few secs, then completely locked.

My machine consists of a pentium 640 3.0 ghz processor, 1 gb ram, 512mb x1300 pro, audigy soundblaster, and a a8n motherboard.

HEELLLPPPP!!!!!!
