and JESUS FUCKING CHRIST the way that each episode deals with a different domestic/social 'issue' is SO FUCKING ANNOYING

i am not 12 years old. i don't need the 'domestic violence' and 'chauvinist' ticket for 15 minutes to be rammed down my throat

it's just shitty storytelling. "oooh it's so realistic". yeah what the fuck is this doing that Tennessee Williams didn't 50 years ago?

give it a fucking rest

Yep, and proud of it!

What's the latest episode you've seen Uzique? I've only seen the first so you might be right. I'm debating whether I should spend $15 on the first season.

Just saw the first episode on Hulu. I didn't really care for these movies much until I saw Zombieland; which lead to Dawn of the Dead (2004) and now I can't get enough of this!

So after the first episode I need to find a way to view the second. I'll probably get an iTunes cash card and get the first season on iTunes. I cannot wait for the second one, this is such an awesome series.

On a side note, I used to hate revolvers, but the one that cop carries is freaking awesome. I'd love one like that! Does anybody know which model it is?

I wonder when they're planning on shooting/releasing the second schedule. I really hope I don't have to wait another year... they should have it in May-July for a precursor to Mad Men.

But probably not.

it's not 28 days later, lucien

to return to my earlier point (about gay over-eagerness to engage with supposed 'social issues'), EP4 was another fucking facepalm

oh yeah lets really help race-relations, the principle of equality and lets dissolve cultural boundaries by just having an episode full of the most AWFULLY FUCKING CHEESY STEREOTYPES imaginable. the spanish gangsters in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas were more convincing, and i'm preeeetty sure that rockstar studios like to take the piss out of that sort of thing. if you're going to make an engaging zombie thriller, go fucking do it. if i wanted a series that dealt with social inequalities and cultural violence in an engaging, thoughtful way... then i've got 5 series of The Wire to go fucking watch.

if they pull this lame shit in EP5 then i'm gonna stop watching right here. over-rated populist bollocks. the sad thing is that 99% of viewers will think including the shitty little social/racial/cultural 'issues' will make it so DEEP and THOUGHTFUL. no. it's just some regressive lame mid-1990's television drama fodder.

It's not getting in wounds or anything.

If it got in their eyes (see 28 Days Later), obviously that'd be an issue... but on the skin? Sure, it could permeate through the pores... but I doubt you'd be able to concoct a successful story if they included that.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
Awwww damn! I'm watching the second episode right now. They're in the streets with the guts on them, but there's a storm coming. If the water washes away the guts they're in for some serious shit. Although, that would be a pretty damn lousy and predictable story.

Just as I had thought! The rain washes away the guts. I'm at the beginning of the third.

Spoiler (highlight to read):
I'm not too fond of the idea of returning to zombie city to get weapons. If they hadn't dismantled that sports car they could have used it as a diversion again with the car alarm. Well, I guess I'll watch and see what happens.

Anyway, my computer was acting all weird @ episode 3 so I couldn't see it all the way through.

Apparently in the episode Vatos, nobody even flinches at a 12 gauge being fired right next to their face
