How they manage to fuck it up so bad that you can't hear your own footsteps yet everyone else can hear you on their screen when you're using Ninja Pro is beyond me.

It'll get fixed... just like the majority of other problems this game has. Not every game is perfect when its first released.

It doesn't matter how many bugs are fixed; the game is down right terrible. Every moment of the campaign I found myself sighing in despair. Multiplayer looks like a cartoon and feels like one. Garbage.alexb wrote:

I don't get why people buy games at full price as soon as they come out. Just wait a year or 2 and buy the game. Hate it? Well, you wasted your money, but at least you saved a bit of money compared to buying it full price.

I realize that games will get fixed and patched, but no game should have this many problems when released. It's still in beta form as far as I'm concerned.

Guys, guys. There isn't a way for a game to ever be good. For it to be good it would have to be so radically different that it would indeed be a different game entirely.
Battlefield 2 was good, once they worked out some of the earlier bugs. Then they messed with balance too much and took out the fun, leaving it only with teamplay-oriented servers.

If the technical problems get sorted, I might by it. CoD4 wasn´t that great gameplay wise online, but I like me some brainless, twitchlasergame from time to time, and since I passed on WaW and MW2 I feel its time again.

Subjective experience:
Got to play a bit more multiplayer. At first I thought it was just the quiet uncommunicative community that was turning me off. As it turns out, it's mostly the map design. Everything looks laid out like a bunch of lego bricks dumped out onto the carpet. I don't mind a map design that favors circulation, but not at the expense of having 18 gajillion entries into every building from every direction and letting you see every pathway from dozens of angles. Cover and teamplay are both jokes.

seriously newbie, did you expect teamwork in CoD? I would be surprised if more than 2 CoD players could work together, that, and console technical limitations was why spec ops in MW2 was limited to 2 players.
