When I first started playing Capture the Flag back in the day I fell in love with it.  Nothing is more exciting than having the enemies flag with your name blinking and everyone coming to attack or defend you...  Its great!  And it puts a spin on the whole concept of just playing to capture bases. 

But after BF1942 they never put it in another game.  Not Vietnam or BF2, which really sucks.  Does anyone else miss Capture the Flag???

All the time, next to clan matches was the best thing about BF and DC. Check out the Desert Conflict mod for some CTF and old style DC action, not many active servers but pretty sweet (i'm sure theres some other CTF mods as well).

I never knew there was a ctf until a few months ago but i would play capping flags gets boring after a qhile

yeah... kinda miss that 'ardkore action where you have to intercept enemy before it's too late or dodge em.
Sigh.
Tried install DC CTF mod last night but no dice.  Guess - different patch version ?
Not even load up. 
Ah well.
