but what i hate about this game is how it's so like cod4/mw2... they put loads of guns in... but only < 5 are ever worth using
in cod1/cod2 every kit was excellent for its SPECIAL purpose. you'd only ever have to specialise in 2 kits and you'd be an amazing player.
in cod4 and onwards all the weps are just fucking pointless filler material

i.e. no 'join game' feature, but you can do it in-game... after you've scrolled through the 99% of your steam friends that DON'T OWN THE GAME

So just finished the Singleplayer and it might as well have been an interactive hollywood movie, but still I liked it.
As for the multiplayer, I just don't get why this game had to be released through Steam. It is just stupid, why would you add a 3rd party software in between you and the game for no reason? And the fuck with only 1 server provider. Where did it all go wrong?
And the grayed out switch teams is just fucking bullshit, can't even properly play with my mates on ranked servers.

I love Steam, but I wish integration was more thorough. Aside from the "join game" feature sometimes not working with certain games, "game X retail" should be able to be downloaded on Steam retail if Steam allows "game Y retail" to be. I've been hit by buying the special edition retail box of a game for the physical stuff it has only to be told by Steam that it can't recognize the CD key if I try to install it through digital download.
I appreciate the new Call of Duty games for at least letting me buy a game on disc then being kind enough to provide a unified set of CD keys that Steam will recognize.

e: Looked at the video again. The AI looks moronic, but the animation is good. Too bad the Potter games really lost their earlier puzzle element, or this could've been a really decent Zelda clone.

so many cheat accus in this game... and it's not even difficult... just killstreak farm
designed a neat new player emblem and camo/facepaint outfit with the winnings
i'm all artic-blue camo with the last facepaint you get and a nasty ak47
i can't get my dropbox photos to be viewable/sharable

I'm happy TKing has decreased since release. It was crazy-high at first. I think it's an issue with the player names. Looks like AA is fucking them up - for me, at least. They seemed so much more... Bolder in MW2. I can't read a name for shit unless I'm right up close and squinting in this game.

It's pretty funny seeing people use sniper rifles in this game.
