Problem with my GPU fan:

Keeps stopping and starting, making a fucking annoying noise every 3 seconds.

I tried cleaning it with compressed air, but haven't taken it out to look at it, yet (Hassle).

Common problem? Gigabyte 460 1GB edition (custom cooler).

How long has it been in a PC from new?

It may be dust collecting.. or worse...

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

It's been about 6-8 weeks now, from new.

Thing is, right now, it's fine. I think it's a Black Ops issue. Only started since playing that game, I think... It's like it wears off after a while.

I would hope that they did, I'd be shocked if they didn't. I'm very curious about their solution, since it's very hard to keep dust out of even the smallest air gaps in a case.

Anyone else seen Rockmelt? It's a new browser based on Chrome and it integrates with everything web2.0, like Facebook, Twitter etc. Really handy to use.. don't think I could make a full swap from Opera but it's nice to have.

Apply for the beta here http://www.rockmelt.com/ or pm me your email for an invite.
