hey guys, how about contributing to the thread or kindly GTFO?
Thanks.
No, kinect looks retarded and gimmicky. If and when it comes in a more polished form I'll consider it.

lol
yeah i meant mw2 on ps3 anyway

If I were going to buy a stupid piece of gimmicky shit, it'd be the Move since I have a PS3.
The Wii is fun.... for 5 consecutive minutes.
Not a fan of motion control tbh. And I need something tangible, too. Kinect would be the last thing I'd want to get, regardless of what system it's on or what systems I already had or how much these peripherals cost.

Only for my kids...if I had any kids, and if they actually wanted it. Anyway, most motion-controlled video game families with kids already use Wii Play and/or Wii Sports.
Not Buying Kinect.

I think Kinect is $150~$200, don't remember exactly. It's definitely up there.

It's $150. If I had chosen to go to the launch in Times Square I could've received $150 of free stuff..
But like KJ said, I'll wait for the more polished version.

I wish more fancy shit like that occurred around Seattle.
Really? We had a launch party in Toronto. Weirddddd
Looks like the only game worth getting is Dance Central. So far, at least. Seems like a good party game.
I'm waiting until 2011's E3 to get it, and only if they unveil games that make it more than just a gimmick. The technology is there, and really fucking sick... there's videos online where someone uses nightvision to show the thousands of small infrared dots Kinect shines in order to track proper movement. The question is: Can they take advantage of it and appeal to the more serious gamers?

I'll buy it if it ever comes with a functional Rob the Robot I can compete against. And then only if it doesn't make me hop up and down.
Not until it comes with a motion controller with buttons like the ps3 did after they made the eyetoy.
The irony of guns, is that they can save lives.
