but okay. everyone thinks these piss-tiny laptops are great nowadays.
they have a shorter lifespan than a pissing iphone
the ipad doesn't have a keyboard and mouse browsing space the side of a discreet tampon though, does it

I'm actually thinking of getting one. My wife has an interest in one, despite the fact that she already has a fairly powerful Core2 laptop already....Sup wrote:
speaking of ipad- does anybody on BF2s have it?
Two iPads were being used as slideshow screens for my son's private school campus day event... /facepalm.
I lived with my uncle for about 2 months while he had one. And on vacation the people we rented the house from had 4 to use. So I've been around them a lot, yeah. Good time wasters and good for specific applications (theirs controlled their lights, sound systems in rooms and TV remote). Other than that, pretty useless..Sup wrote:

Wait for the second-gen. Never buy 1st-gen Apple products.
$80 for a 500GB IDE HDD to put in the external enclosure I already have...
$73 / $95 / $120 for a 1TB / 1.5 TB / 2 TB HDD with the enclosure included...
Fucking technology. Clearly I should go for the $73 for the external TB, but then really I should go for the $95 for 1.5 external TB since it's less $/TB, but then I really should go for the 2 TB since it's even less $/TB. Spending more money than I should right now...

I do and I love it (although I don't know if I'd buy one at full price)..Sup wrote:

I turn my computer on so much less these days, because I do all my basic web browsing on that.
It's just so easy to use for the little things.

I fucking love the Phenom II X2 CPU I bought... runs at 55C with 1.425VCore at 3.8Ghz and unlocked to an X4 (Quad Core). This thing is seriously the best $90 I've ever spent in my life.
Nice. I am myself considering getting the 1090T Thuban. Mass Effect 2 is using all four cores in my 965.
Overclock it?Ilocano wrote:

I thought BC2 was a resource hungry game... I guess I was wrong?
What's the easiest tweak to get it over 3.8? I've got a push-pull H50.alexb wrote:

All I did was set the multiplier to 19x and increase the VCore until it passed in LinX. I'm using a CNPS9700 cooler.Ilocano wrote:

does anyone know if you can get the sexy black xbox controllers for windows-pc?
or do they just work with the USB-wireless dongle?
i.e. buy a black controller as if for xbox... and then sync it to the windows wireless thing
looking to get one

B) You can mod a usb cable onto them to connect to the pc.
for a fatty you're a serious intellectual lightweight.
Was it difficult to unlock the other 2 cores? and are they more unstable than the first 2?alexb wrote:

afaik they don't do PC-version black xbox controllers with a USB cable
so i'm guessing it's purchase standard wireless one + usb windows dongle, right?
