kimm: you'll only like china if you like breathing lead.
It's a good school but not a great school. The price is due to location. My room and board is $12K.Uzique wrote:
that's a ridiculously inflated price considering the relative merit and prestige of your uni
why do people even bother going there. small private liberal-arts colleges make english public schools look like free kindergartens
Nope. I could've, but I wanted a liberal arts school in case I changed my mind. I wouldn't have gone to Pace if I didn't have the scholarships, believe me.JohnG@lt wrote:

My school is about $52K a year. Luckily, most of it's covered by scholarships I received.

And again, about Stony Brook - great school, but I'm also from the town of Stony Brook and I wanted to go away. I was not planning on commuting. And most importantly, they're not a very heavy Criminal Justice school. Albany is and I'd get a better base education in CRJ than Stony Brook. While I realize it's not essential to have it for Law School, I'd prefer it.
I'd really look into going to John Jay over Albany man... like seriously. Albany is a cesspool.Poseidon wrote:

You think I don't know that? I have a brother who has a house DOWNTOWN there... now THAT is a cesspool. But the school is incredible. A great education.JohnG@lt wrote:

It's obviously your life and your decision. It's just not the one I would make. I'm past the point in my life where partying and number of girls to play with on campus factors into my equation thoughPoseidon wrote:

Last time I went up to Albany (3 weeks ago) I had such a blast though.
I wouldn't go to Albany if it was just that. It's way back on my priority list. #1 is education, #2 is price.JohnG@lt wrote:

It doesn't include my meal plan. My meal plan is $1550 a semester.Hurricane2k9 wrote:
