I managed to get the 9 cell because I decided on the Studio XPS 16 instead of the Studio 15 which I was originally going to get. For some reason Dell made the upgrades on the Studio 15 more expensive so it became cheaper (and better in general) to go for the XPS.

About 150kg of power supplies, meter panels, RF amplifiers and miscellaneous components from a local radio tower. It's some pretty bad-ass stuff to pick components out of, even though they're somewhat useless as-is, as there are no analogue TV/radio channels left anywhere. This stuff wasn't cheap when it was new, we're talking about the equivalent of a small car for each piece. See that box on top to the right? It's a 300W power amplifier for analogue TV, and the whole underside of it is one humongous heat sink. I got four of those.
But my favourite thing out of it all is this RF waveform monitor. I've been looking for a cheap scope for quite a while, and while it may not be the best thing out there for oscilloscope duty, it'll do a hell of a lot better than nothing.

Apparently the v2s are more comfortable for longer use, and they come in red, white, and black as far as I know. I got them because they come with a soundcard built in and will work with my PS3 and laptop.
