No, it is probably the nerdiest thing you can do. Reenactors are right up there with people who attend Star Wars, Star Trek, WoW and comic conventions etc. I'd put them on par with people who play D&D.

Oh come on. There are nerdier things.

Though my idea of a re-enactment is more like dressing up as participants in a conflict, and then re-enacting a battle using paintball guns or airsofts, and allowing wither side to win depending on how well they play.

I take it regular re-enactments are different from this.

The green is nice too. Gray, black, and green are all good colors for a uniform, although not necessarily all together.
