Anyone could see the problem with why dressing up as the SS could come across as wrong. However, to do a re-enactment properly you need all the elements of the battles. For stalingrad/any russian battle, you'd need commisar's shooting their soldiers in the backs. If we censor everything we won't remember the horrible things that the antagonists in war did, and how we can prevent them. There are also pictures of him going around dressed up as a U.S. soldier in WW1 and a Union soldier in the Civil War. People have weird hobbies.
