I know this topic has been addressed before, but I cannot see a clear cut defined way of earning these two ribbons.  I completed all of the maps for each one, and they are checked underneath my ribbons in UBAR:

However I still have not received those two ribbons.  It has been a week since I completed all of the maps.

Any direction on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Just play some few more hours in the MEC and PLA theatre (all maps from BF2, not SF, not EF which you don't have anyway).
Maybe you can post here right after you have recieved the ribbons (you will not recieve them while playing, so check your BFHQ frequently) so we finally know the required hours for those ribbons.

And don't play euro force or you'll glitch them as I did with my mec ribbon and it's 5 hours for each army ribbon on that team

That's right.  Need more time, although I don't know how much.  Keep playing those maps and it'll be a nice surprise at some point when you're in-game.  Nice sound that drum roll.......

I will keep playing those maps and tracking the time.  As soon they appear I will post in this thread for people to check the timings.

Alright, here is what I think the requirements are and here is also my grounding:
I called EA Games and the Tech Support pointed me to this website:

However, when I got 5 hours in MEC Team time I did not recieve the ribbon.
Obviously you must play ALL MEC maps to get it, but once I played ALL the maps on the MEC team then I was awarded the ribbon.
So it appears that you must play all the MEC maps, PLUS be on the MEC team for each of those maps...
I am now going to go prove my theory by earning the PLA ribbon...
