Lockers, yes because theyre school property.  Backpacks they can look to see if you have weapons/drugs etc but not thoroughly without reasonable suspicion.  They wouldnt be allowed to look at your laptop for instance to see what you had on there...

I don't think that's true, do you have anything to back it up?
Drive onto a school parking lot.  There are search consent signs all over the lots.

Not anywhere I've ever seen.  Ever.
I've never heard of a school having authority to do that, thats absolutely a police thing.

It's easy for someone who isn't going to be subject to such rigorous invasions of privacy to advovate it. Personally I think the idea that your phone and data can be searched on a whim or randomly to be laughable.

I'm pretty sure you can refuse to be searched if you want. And they aren't allowed to touch anything, they can ask you to open your bag and move things around etc. but not touch. At least in UK

I went to high school the last four years of my life, and I have never seen such a sign. I meant do you a legitimate source, maybe a court case to back you up rather than something you pulled out of your bumhole?

Searching backpacks for weapons or hard drugs is a world apart from searching private data for utterly no reason. I don't think it was an accident, if he pressed an unlock button and her wallpaper was her pulling her legs back naked then at a stretch its perhaps an accident...

Actually I carry a gun and I tend to actively look for signs like that.  Last time I saw one was on Saturday pulling into an elementary school lot for my Son's soccer game.

That really her? She looks very fucking young for 17, definitely shouldn't have nude pics of herself at all until she is 18.

The way it was discovered was wrong. Very wrong.

This girl is still a dingbat though. When you're 18, as dumb as it still is, go ahead. When you're 17, it's CHILD PORN. These people don't realize it. I can't tell you how many times girls from my HS told me they'd done it and my friends told me they'd received it from other girls.

This one girl (total bitch) pretty much has her nudes from when she was 18 online. And she wants to be a teacher. Yeah, good luck when your students google you and see your teenage tits on their screen.

Huh. Well I don't know where you live, but there aren't signs like that at schools around here. There are speed limit signs, gun-free zone signs, and "we can tow your car off this lot" type signs but that's it.

I don't get the 'warman' reference....  nvrmind

And she shouldn't have brought and electronic device to school that had porn on it.  It doesn't matter the format whether it be a magazine, video, or phone.

If I was the principals superintendent, I'd rip him a new one -but I'd also ding the girl for her indiscretion.

*edit: o What the fuck is wrong with her legs....

The warman bit was just a response to his post, twas not a referance.

Asking teenagers not to bring in devices that have porn is pretty difficult. If you didn't have any porn vids on your phone at my school and you're a male you were in a minority. Giggity goo.

Nah I believe you, I'm just surprised. Our school always had to have the cops with a warrant to search cars.

Ya... Saw that and thanks. I was about to get irate :p.

Shit man... My computers at school had some Turtle line control game and fucking Oregon Trail on it.  By the time the net was in its full frontal, I was in college.

But I could say that my area school (DC ish) was gun ridden and many males were strapped.... That still didn't make it right though.

When my cousin got popped, cops were present (school resource officer) -no warrant though... That was in South Carolina - I think Bravo has it, it's different everywhere.
