I mean, someone suffering some BPD or are chronically bipolar are really suffering terrible lives. Why shouldn't they be allowed to end this suffering?

IIRC a place in China was running out of land to bury people so the residents started killing themselves to get some of the last spots. The local government declared killing yourself illegal and threatened fines for the family.
