@jestar sansha ships got nerfed in the last balance (( the frigs notably slower than the other faction frigs, the cruiser was pro but they nerfed the shield for no apparent reason.

The more time you put into eve the more fun you'll get out of it. This means if you try a 15 day trial and decide it isn't fun, of course it won't be. IIRC I've put about 10 months into the game and I'm finally at a point where I'm having a freakin blast with it.
